Upcoming Classes & Events
Taking classes at Woodland Vessels Pottery Studio is a great way to learn a new skill while at the same time, pausing from the daily grind of work. You will leave the studio feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and proud of your accomplishments. All classes are taught by Cynthia, who is a master teacher with over 30 years of experience and since all classes are limited to six students, you will get lots of one on one attention to learn these new skills.
There are no formal classes being offered currently, but if you are interested in learning how to use the pottery wheel or how to work with clay without the pottery wheel, you may contact me directly to schedule a private or semi private class. Students who have already worked in the studio or taken a private class, may purchase a Little Punch card for ten hours of studio time ($140) or the Big Punch for twenty hours of studio time ($240). With this punch system, you will receive direct instruction as needed, and use of all tools and equipment while at the same time having the flexibility of scheduling when you’d like to come into the studio to work. This does not include clay or firing. Clay is sold separately ($40/25 lb. bag) and firing is $.08/sq. inch which includes glaze, wax as well as both bisque and glaze firings. Students using the punch card system need to book the hours they wish to work, by clicking the appointment button below. Punch cards and clay can be purchased in the studio.
Private & Semi-Private Classes
Private classes are for two hours at $45/hour. Every additional person (up to three people) is an additional $35/hour. Two pieces will be glazed and fired at no additional cost. If participants want more pieces to be fired, an additional cost of $.03/sq. inch/bisque firing and $.04/sq. inch glaze firing will be charged. All work will need to be picked up at a later date. Please contact Woodland Vessels to schedule your lesson.
